This the nineth week of the semester, the art class has finished with the first four chapters; Living with Arth, What is Art?, Theres of Art, and The Visual Elements are the ones that the class has finished with so far, and Principles of Design is the one we are currently working on. I don't quite remember if the book is regular college book or one of those books that especially printed for ESL students. The reading level of the book is a little bit about my level, there are still so many words that I am not familiar with and words that I have never heard of. However, I still like reading this book because there are whole bunch of images that I can look at, so where there is information like the differences between two different types of artwork, I can just simply look at the artwork and determine the differences. The book also contains a lot of infomations that students from other art related class may like to read about such as, Principles of Design, Fraphic Design and Illustration, and Architecture. The book itself is a really cool book to read, but I just don't like it the fact that it is really heavy and made me very tired every Wednseday after classes.

Art Appreciation

So far, I have read five chapters of Human Genetics. It was really hard to me to understand the terms if I don’t use a biology dictionary. However, thing is always not too bad, the text is very clearly logistic so that I could get understanding finally. I am interested more and more by the textbook. When I flip it, I feel like I open a magic door towards a mysterious world. By reading this book, I know how my body works for me everyday, how I grew up from a cell to a person, and why I have a similar feature with my parents and my grand parents. I can so much as predict some feature of my offspring. The Human Genetics is such a interesting book that I like to read every chapters.

Microsoft Office 2003
As you can see, this book Microsoft Office 2003 is from my last semester. It's a heavy book. It includes many useful softwares, like Word, Access, Excel,FrontPage, and Powerpoint, which are very necessary for people who are working in office. I am interested in computers, so I chose this class. The vocabularies in this book are difficult for me, but there are a lot of pictures that show me how to do step by step. Sam is a program comes with this book. We can set up an acount and password, so we can do some practises.
I love this book. I have learned how to give a presentation by using Powerpoint and how to use Word to type assignments in a easy way. I really enjoyed learning from this Microsoft Office 2003, the book which will always be useful in the rest of my life.

"Cultural Anthropology"
Accounting Book
This book is required subjects for majoring business student. l learned financial accounting at last term so I continue to study managerial accounting at this term. I am interested accounting, but this book is hard to me. First, I have lots of glossary to remember every chapter. And then, I must understand some numbers where and how they calculate. After, how I solve the solution is important for all the exercises that I understand contents of this chapter. This book let me know how to count the revenue, cost and profit for company and how to manage the operations and develop overall business. This book is very helpful to me for my work.
"Living with Art"

This book is very well-organized. At first it has Brief Contest and then, the Contents with specification about every chapter with subsections. “Living is Art” includes: 5 parts, which is: Introduction, The Vocabulary of Art, Two-Dimensional Media, Three- Dimensional Media and Arts in Time. Each one of them got around 3-9 separate chapters, for instance: Living with Art, The visual elements, Drawing, Painting, Prints, Sculpture and Installation, Ancient Mediterranean Worlds, Arts of Islam and of Africa. Every few pages are one, gray page about artist’s life. It was one of our homework to do a presentation about these artists. Each student got one artist and had to find his art-works and tell the people what he studied about him. The book contains a lot of pictures- hundred of them.
I have already read four chapters: Living with Art, What is art, Themes of Art and the Visual Elements (120 pages). Every reading was as an assignment. We had to read the part and answer the questions on “reading guide”. I’m interested in topics like Graphic design, Illustration, Photography, Film and Video since I’m interested in it to become my carrier.
I like this book even though when I saw it the first time it scared me. What I like is like I said before very good organization. You can easily find everything what you need, or from the tables of contests or from the index on the back. It even has a glossary. The pictures which they included in every chapter are very helpful to understand what they are talking about.
The language is just right. There are some worlds that I don’t understand but it doesn’t disturb too much. In my opinion the book “Living with Art” is very useful for people whose interested is in any parts of art.
