As you can see, this book called “100 simple secrets of successful people”, I read this book when I was studying ESL level 5 at Wright College. This book, I think, It is a very important because this show us how to become better humans beings; moreover, it is book that can be used to answer almost all your personal questions approaching you to the best logical answer possible. This book also gives us tools to be successful persons in everything that we do, or are trying to do, With themes like “Creativity comes from within,” “Competence Starts with a feeling competent,” “It is never Just One Thing,” and “Winners are Made, Not Born,” are a clear example of what this book is related about and overall which topics are going to be explained forward.
My reaction to this book was very gratifying, because I learned a variety of keys that are being useful in my personal life. This book also taught me how to affront the variety of difficult situation that a human being, later than soon, can affront in a determined situation in the life. Life is made of good and bad moments that can be memorable for us, but the big deal or the key to become to be a successful person in life is to learn to overcome them in a logical way, with measure and overall with wisdom, that it is the most important thing.
I really recommend this book, because each theme has no longer explanation and comes with a short explanation in the bottom of each page, so it is not really boring to read it; each topic it is going to take like 5 or ten minutes to read, but the most important thing is to apply to our life what we have learned, and the best way to do it, it is putting in practice in our job, or whenever you think that it is necessary to do it.

Investments

This text book is about business investments. I bought this book in beck's and paid 17o$ in this book.

Total amont of pages is P.837. I regurally could read 20 minutes for one page. There are so many terms that I have to find in my electronic dictionary. That is why it took so much time to read this books. However, if I use a dictionaly, I can read and understand what is written.

It has a lot of contant. It shows why people invest, what is the investment, how to invest, and so on. Those contain so practical examples and problems. This book is very useful for me, and through this book, I can learn much more about investment technically and specialy. Only thing that I don't like is that this book is too technical for me, so I have to study hardly before I attend the class.

Throght reading "Muscla Reading", I could understand more rapidly this text book. Before I read the whole containts, I read the summary parts of the chapter which is written in the end of the chapter. Actually it worked well. Before I start to read I can know that this chapter is about.

My Calculus book

I have the Math 207 in this semester. So I bought this book for the class. The book named Thomas' Calculus. It's a very heavy book. It has 1228 pages ( not include the answer key and some formulas pages). There is a hard cover that covering this book. There are some formulas in side the very first page. And then, a following thing is Contents. There are sixteen chapters in this book but we only have to learn the first five chapters for Math 207. Each chapter separate into five to eight sections. Each chapter begins with a picture on the left hand corner. And then, a overview of a last chapter, then a section begins. The sections begin with some examples to show you how to solve the problems. There are some rules and formulas in most of the sections. There are a lot of exercises in each sections. Most of the images in this book are the graph of functions like hyperbolas parabolas. The assignments were already assigned on first day of the class. The instructor also put the assignments on Blackboard.

Reading this book is not so difficult but you have to remember the rules and formulas. I don't like this book because it is very heavy to bring it to school. I don't mean that I hate this book. I don't hate this book because I can learn many formulas and rules that I have never known before and I want to improve my math skill. We have done the first two chapters. The first chapter is not a difficult chapter but the second one becoming more challenge for me. However, I already have a strategy to overcome this chapter.
I have a Social Science class this semester, that book is a Social Science's book. The name is Through THE Eyes OF Social Science. That book is very thick, I hate that book because it have totally 645 pages and 14 parts, no picture in the book! All the think is the words! So, every time while I read the book, I just want to sleep. But it is useful sometimes, last time when I have an assignment , it help me a lot.

Finally, I think this book is useful but I hate to read it. I think no one will interesting it.

Art appreciation

This is my art book for my art appreciation class. The name of this book is Livign with art and is so so heavy. It has approximately 600 pages, this book is practically about art history and appreciation (duh) theres alot of pictures of paintings and sculptures, also theres mini biography of some artists. This book has 22 chapter, first we have an introduction of what is art, then we have visual elements, different types of media, art in time, art from different cultures, etc.
I enjoy reading books about art, i like to discover new artist and study famous artwork, looking up for the smallest details or trying to find what the artist wants to communicate thru their artwork. Personally this book is interesting but its way to big and heavy, i get bored easily whenever I am reading it while doing homework, its not hard but theres some words that i dont understand.

Class blog 2

This book is for my accounting course book. It is the thickest book that I have. Of course I couldn't look on every single word or every line. So, I used the strategies form my reading textbook reconnaissance. First of all, I look at all the chapters and then scan headlines, look at the charts, pictures, diagrams. Second of all, I know what I want to know and what materials I need before I read. Third, make some qustions from an assignment before begin reading. Also, underline the unknow words and highlight the main ideal or important section can save lots of time for reviewnig or to study for the tests. Normally,I try to spent half hour to read every day, most of time I would like to read news paper because I can find out the local news and what is going on in the city. After I went back to school I had changed my suject to read because I have to read my textbooks in order to get a better grad on my course. It is worthy on what I read because those textbooks are very useful to me and I can learn lot of knowleges form them.

Chemistry textbook

The textbook I chose is chemistry book entitled Foundations of college Chemistry by Hein and Arena. The book is heavy and thick. It has a beautiful cover of penguins on ice. The book has a Long list of table of contents. Besides it has a lot of pictures and drawing of atoms elements and compounds. There are also pictures of chemists in the lab doing experimentations and researches. In addition the book has a clear pictures of periodic table of the elements. The book also contains self-testing questions at the end of each chapter. In my chemistry class we are normally assigned a chapter to read in advance and prepare for the class. I love my chemistry book. It is a book that contains important details of chemistry foundations. I found it very interesting and helpful in my studies. The book is not boring to read because it has colorful pictures of the elements.

Social Science-Through The Eyes Of Social Science

On this semester I took the Social Science 101.This course require two textbooks, but I prefer this one- Through THE Eyes OF Social Science. Compare to another textbook, the composing of this book is much more clear and easier to catch the main idea. This thick book totally have 645 pages and mainly divided into 14 parts, each part also dividing into two to three chapters in average. In the back of this book is the area which called “ glossary”, this is the place that editor put many terminology to help the reader try to understand the context as soon as they can instead of checking other dictionary or data waste of the precious time .What’s more, in the end of every chapter there are some thoughtful questions make reader preview what they learn form this chapter also remind them the main point of this chapter. Besides, I think this book introducing many out-class resource such like recent special event which associated with social science or some interesting statistic figure, it sometimes really make me relax and give me a time to break and refocusing to the paragraph again.

Because teacher gave us an assignment that we will have a group presentation after midterm, so every group of our class have their own topic, of course based on the material of this book. The topic of my group is called” American Diversity and 2000 Census”. Because of the assignment I started to open this heavy social science textbook. But after I read some pages of this chapter, I found out despite of the difficult terms which I didn’t understand rest of the part is not quite hard to me. But the fact is that I still need many time to handle this ”social science” course. To me I think that even in my native language, social science is not a easy task too.

Statistics book.

My green book is about elementary statistics which is written by Mario F. Triola. I liked to learn this and I also enjoyed reading this book. It is a 10th edition of the book with CD. It is really huge and heavy. This has 868 pages. Most of the books are about statistics. About this book’s whole idea is that it will give us descriptive statistics and inferential statistics information. As a result of I looked all book inside, it included 15 chapters. Every first part of each chapter had pictures that have meaning for each chapter. And every section under the chapters had problems to be able to solve. Those were like practice for every section. At the end of this book, it had samples that are already calculated. I can use that without any formula. There were diagrams, statistical pictures in the middle of every section that are required. Some colored letters helped to read and understand easily. Also there were some practical examples in our lives edges of papers.
I already have been studying this book. At the first time when I studied, I had hard time to read and study. Yet, if I did this activity before, it wasn’t like that hard to study. It was great activity for me. I have homework for solve the problems at the end of the sections. Even thought most of the homework is not reading, I need to read all of the chapters to do homework. I liked to learn so far, but only one bad thing about this book is just heavy.

Medical Terminology

This textbook “Medical Terminology” is from my last semester class. It is the fifth edition by Barbara A. Gylys and Mary Ellen Wedding. This book has fifteen chapters, five hundred and fifty pages, and it is eleven inches long, eight inches wide. The purpose of this book is to help us learn medical terminology so we can effectively communicate with other members of the health care team. In this book I also discovered that it is like learning a whole new language. In the first three chapters I studied about the basic elements of medical words, suffixes, and prefixes, and in the forth chapter about body structure. In last five to fifteen chapters are brief descriptions about Anatomy and physiology, pathology, diognosis, therapeutic procedures, pharmacology, suffix, prefix and abbreviations. The end of the each chapter has learning activities and medical record activities and all activities allow self-assessment and evaluation of competency. The appendix has all the answers of the activities, an alphabetical list of medical word elements, updated abbreviations and their meanings. This book has an audio CD- ROM which is designed for us, an ability to spell, pronounce and understanding the meaning of the medical terms from the chapters. This textbook also has website for the medical dictionary.

The language of the book is good and each chapter is coherent and easy to understand. The color pictures and highlighted headlines enhance my interest in this book. Before our class we read the chapter that we were going to study. In this book I learned about medical language and anatomy and physiology of the human. By this book I am determined to understand the world of medical science. I always need this book in my medical carrier.

Art Appreciation

The book that was in the picture above was one of the heavy books that I have to carry to school every Wednesday. This is the book for my Art Appreciation, art 103 class. The tittle of the book is called " Living With Art" by Mark Getlein. In that class,we can use two different editions of the book; both seventh and eighth edition, and the one that is shown on the picture is the eighth edition because our professor didn't know that the art department had ordered a new edition while the professor was still thinking to lecture with the seventh edition in her mind. Anyway, the book cover you see above was a really nice painting called Las Meninas, by a 17th century Spanish artist Velazquez. The book "Living With Art" has total of 603 pages and there are twenty-two chapters, which are well categorized into five mains parts; Intruction, The Vocabular of Art, Two-Dimensional Media, Three-Dimensional Media, and Arts in Time. I won't call it a heavy book for nothing. Inside the book, there are so many images of different types of art work that are by both famous and non-famous artists. The images are well organized and the way the images organized is depends on the materials of the chapters. There are also pages that are just for the artists in the book, in thoses pages, they gave us infomation of lives, works and background of differenet artists. The one main big assignment is to read the chapters and there are reading guides that we have to work on. The reading guide is actually the worksheet that the professor has prepared for students to look at important materials and mark down some of the important notes from the chapers. It is usually one to three pages long per chapter and it is a really good thing, it leads student directly to the main point of the chapter, however, we still call the reading guide a short answer worksheet. The one last thing, this book is really useful when there is exams like midterm or final, because the exams are take-home exam, students can look at the books as long and as much as they want!!

This the nineth week of the semester, the art class has finished with the first four chapters; Living with Arth, What is Art?, Theres of Art, and The Visual Elements are the ones that the class has finished with so far, and Principles of Design is the one we are currently working on. I don't quite remember if the book is regular college book or one of those books that especially printed for ESL students. The reading level of the book is a little bit about my level, there are still so many words that I am not familiar with and words that I have never heard of. However, I still like reading this book because there are whole bunch of images that I can look at, so where there is information like the differences between two different types of artwork, I can just simply look at the artwork and determine the differences. The book also contains a lot of infomations that students from other art related class may like to read about such as, Principles of Design, Fraphic Design and Illustration, and Architecture. The book itself is a really cool book to read, but I just don't like it the fact that it is really heavy and made me very tired every Wednseday after classes.

This picture shows the outlook of my biology textbook. Topic of my biology book is Human Genetics. It is the seventh edition by Ricki Lewis. The cover of the book is a picture of three generations from a family. Human Genetics contains 6 main parts. They are introduction, transmission genetics, DNA and chromosomes, population genetics, immunity and cancer, and genetic technologies. Each part is developed into several chapters. Each chapter is composed of text, figures, tables, charts, examples, summaries, review questions, apply questions, and web activities. There are totally 470 pages in this book. The homework are to answer the review questions and applied questions. Those exercises could help me to understand the contents and concepts. The appendix lists all the answers for homework so that I could correct my own answers. Actually, my biology professor never assign any reading assignments, but if I want to do the review and applied questions, I have to read all of the text and figures.

So far, I have read five chapters of Human Genetics. It was really hard to me to understand the terms if I don’t use a biology dictionary. However, thing is always not too bad, the text is very clearly logistic so that I could get understanding finally. I am interested more and more by the textbook. When I flip it, I feel like I open a magic door towards a mysterious world. By reading this book, I know how my body works for me everyday, how I grew up from a cell to a person, and why I have a similar feature with my parents and my grand parents. I can so much as predict some feature of my offspring. The Human Genetics is such a interesting book that I like to read every chapters.

Microsoft Office 2003

As you can see, this book Microsoft Office 2003 is from my last semester. It's a heavy book. It includes many useful softwares, like Word, Access, Excel,FrontPage, and Powerpoint, which are very necessary for people who are working in office. I am interested in computers, so I chose this class. The vocabularies in this book are difficult for me, but there are a lot of pictures that show me how to do step by step. Sam is a program comes with this book. We can set up an acount and password, so we can do some practises.

I love this book. I have learned how to give a presentation by using Powerpoint and how to use Word to type assignments in a easy way. I really enjoyed learning from this Microsoft Office 2003, the book which will always be useful in the rest of my life.

"Cultural Anthropology"

"Cultural Anthropology" by Barbara Miller Fourth Edition and it has 512 pages in the book. This book is about What is Anthropology? Anthropology is the study of humanity includes prehistoric origins. The book also teach us about culture shock, religion, birth and death (like how other cultures perceive that or deal), communication, research about fieldwork's (is basically look for the background of certain communities like food, religion, traditions, ethnicity, etc). I think that from this class so far i had learn how we can manage and respect other cultures that are around us and is very interesting how people react to other cultures, one of the main issues in our society is discrimination and that we never respect others. In class we discuss a chapter and for home we have to read like 2 chapters and make sure we know the content because in class we have to participate with some questions that the teacher will ask about them. I think that this class is really going to help me in my reading and writing because is other vocabulary that we have to use and i am really learning and applying the words (try) in speech and writing so it can stick better and it really works. I learn in my reading book of English about how we can scan, read, identify, knowledge, main idea of a book and i did it and is very helpful just looking for important things in the book to see if it's useful or not. I think that my Anthropology book has lot of good information that i can use it for my basic life and needs.

Accounting Book

This is my accounting book. The picture of hard cover is earth, star, money and number. The author team is "Warren", "Reeve"and "Fess". This book combines Financial & Managerial Accounting. This book has 1105 pages and the appendices have 90pages, so this book is very very heavy. This book has twenty-six chapters and six appendices. Chapter 1 to 15 are financial accounting. Chapter 16 to 26 are managerial accounting. Every chapter has teven main points. First is objectives after studying every chapter. The contents of chapter have many color graphs, tables and pictures that are helpful to illustrate and understand. The key points and illustrative problem is to help understanding and to give a example solution for the exercise. The last is exercise that include questions, exercises and problems series A/B. This three parts have lots of homeworks, but teacher just selects part important homeworks to hand in exercises before test.
This book is
required subjects for majoring business student. l learned financial accounting at last term so I continue to study managerial accounting at this term. I am interested accounting, but this book is hard to me. First, I have lots of glossary to remember every chapter. And then, I must understand some numbers where and how they calculate. After, how I solve the solution is important for all the exercises that I understand contents of this chapter. This book let me know how to count the revenue, cost and profit for company and how to manage the operations and develop overall business. This book is very helpful to me for my work.

"Living with Art"

The book from the picture is a textbook from class Art Appreciation. The title is “Living with Art” by Mark Getlein. This is a 7th edition of the book with CD included. The book is huge! It has around 600 pages and is heavy like a hundred stones. Now I started to understand why students have wheeled backpacks. The cover has a painting Marie-Denise Villers “Young Woman Drawing” (1801) on the front and on the back cover painting Anon , “The storm” (1760-70).
This book is very well-organized. At first it has Brief Contest and then, the Contents with specification about every chapter with subsections. “Living is Art” includes: 5 parts, which is: Introduction, The Vocabulary of Art, Two-Dimensional Media, Three- Dimensional Media and Arts in Time. Each one of them got around 3-9 separate chapters, for instance: Living with Art, The visual elements, Drawing, Painting, Prints, Sculpture and Installation, Ancient Mediterranean Worlds, Arts of Islam and of Africa. Every few pages are one, gray page about artist’s life. It was one of our homework to do a presentation about these artists. Each student got one artist and had to find his art-works and tell the people what he studied about him. The book contains a lot of pictures- hundred of them.
I have already read four chapters: Living with Art, What is art, Themes of Art and the Visual Elements (120 pages). Every reading was as an assignment. We had to read the part and answer the questions on “reading guide”. I’m interested in topics like Graphic design, Illustration, Photography, Film and Video since I’m interested in it to become my carrier.
I like this book even though when I saw it the first time it scared me. What I like is like I said before very good organization. You can easily find everything what you need, or from the tables of contests or from the index on the back. It even has a glossary. The pictures which they included in every chapter are very helpful to understand what they are talking about.
The language is just right. There are some worlds that I don’t understand but it doesn’t disturb too much. In my opinion the book “Living with Art” is very useful for people whose interested is in any parts of art.

Math book!

This is book is for my math class. Its cover color is red. This book is as like as a rectangle. I think everyone can see the topic on the picture is College Algebra. The front cover that is very simple only have a topic , edition and author'a name. the back cover that is simple too. That only a few word at the bottom of the back but this book have a special place is have a parobola cover all over the book. It looks like a fuction that is match what we learn from this book. This book have two main point for every chapter. First is show the example and how can we soluction the answer and the second point is the exercise. we will do this exercise for our homework everyday. Teacher will give us what is the exercise number and we finish everyday when we have class. In the back of the book have answer key. when we do our homewok, we have someting unuderstand, we can check the answer in the back. I think the book has most image is the chart of function. That is the main chapter in this book.
I am very interested in this book. I like this book because this book's content is easy for me. This book total have seven chapter. The frist one to three chapter is talking about the equation. and the four to six is talking about the function, and the last chapter is system for the enquation and the inquation. when I did the homewoke, I think I only use half hour I can finish. that is different from the English class. I need to use a long time to do my essay. This is what I like the book but I don't like the book because it is very heavy. When I take this book is like take a stone. It almost twenty pounds. when I have math class , my shoulder also felt hard. I can learn someting I did not know from this book. Bofore I didn't know what is funcion but I got it know. This bool is very useful for me.

Gift from my uncle

These bangles are very precious for me because they are my wedding bangles. The day before my wedding, on my bridle shower, I had to wear my wedding bangles, which I was dreaming to wear. In my language these bangles are called chura, which are only given by the uncle (mother's brother) to the bride. I had these bangles since 2004. My mom's brother gave me the money to buy the bangles instead of giving me the actual bangles, so I can buy them by my choice. These bangles are, as you can see, in dark maroon, and cream color. They are made of plastic. These bangles are round in shape, about two inches diameter, and one fourth of a centimeter in width. Each pair has thirty-seven bangles, twenty-eight maroon, and nine in cream color. Each cream color bangle has white stones, resembling diamonds. I wore them after my wedding for one year. Since that day I kept them with me, and brought them here to America. One day I will show these to my children. You only wear these bangles once in a lifetime, and I will keep them with me forever.

This stamp is really important and meaningful to me. I always have it in my wallet, and I have brought it with me for a long time, wherever I go. The stamp has some letter in spanish that mean: " Stop! The heart of Jesus is with you". It means a lot to me, because it is like a protection for the person that hold it.

A Precious Bracelet

All of us have received a special gift that is near and dear to our hearts. It could be something as small as a drawing from as child or as big as a diamond ring or new car. Why do we remember such gifts so clearly? There are many reasons that people remember special gifts and presents they have received. First of all, such gifts remind their receivers of a special person in their lives. I also have same special gift which is the bracelet of parachute. When I was graduated from military service, I got it from my fellow soldiers. Ever since I graduated from military, I always carry it with me. Actually, I had very hard time when I was in my company. Therefore, I always want to remember my precious time with my fellow soldiers. Finally, as you can see, people remember special gifts as they have received for a variety of reasons. The gifts remind receivers of a special person in their lives, a special time in their lives, or possess inherent value on their own. It is like an infinity value for me.

Cut and Trim, My Scissors.

The object right now that holds the most meaning in my life are my scissors. I bought this in Hong Kong. Ever since I became a hair stylist, it became one of the most precious things in my life. Without it, I wouldn't be able to help anybody cut their hair. You may think that I could just use anybody's scissors and still help somebody cut their hair, but its different because this is my first pair of scissors and it holds alot of meaning in my life. It is the first that I've had after I sucessfully became a hair stylist. That's why I would treasure this for as long as I life, and carefully boxed and move from place to place for any situations that may happen in my life.

THE RED ROSE

I symbolize myself as a red rose because of the sweet smell, the bright color red that for me means peace, love and friendship, and the spines means the aggressive and defensive part. I think that my type of personality is kind of unpredicted, friendly, sweet, peaceful, and sometimes when something is not fare or i dislike i get aggressive and upset. I think that everyone symbolize themselves as good or bad but people never think more deeply in there own person, there is always a reason for something most likely is not going to be always good.

Something in my purse

What do you thing what is the most important things in your purse? I think the wallet and the bag of my cosmetics are the most important things to me. First of all, wallet is to put all my credit credit cards and my ID because those are very necessary in our daily routine. We need them to purchase for everything we needed. Also, cosmetics are very important to me as well because my aspect reflex my personality. It is a way to care about yourself and to respect the others. Also, I have always like to make myself look neat and look presentable while I am working or going to a special event or a party. Therefore, anyway I go and my purse never lack of my wallet and the cosmetics.

Kelly is one of the priceless and important person in my life. She is my daughter and I love her with all my heart. She is very helpful to me. She has always listen to me whatever I had told her. Also, she is a understanding and respectful person. She helps her brothers with their homework because I am busy all the time unfortunately. I could help my kids with their homework and I couldn't spent that much time with them because I have to workhard in orther to make some money to sport them. I felt bad, but my Kelly said that to me, "Mom that ok, we konw you have to work hard and go to school and we understand that". Honestly, her understanding is really boost and motivated me and gave me lot of energy to continue doing what I am doing. As you can see, I am so lucky to have her in my life.

My cellphone

Do you know cellphone is one the most important devices for us to comunication? It is portable and very convenience. Also, it can save lot of time for us to get in touch with someone that you are looking for. It is almoust good for all the people. It is very important to me because I have a late schudle and I couldn't see my kids that much. Mostly, Monday to Friday I couldn't see them. By the time,I had come back home and they had already slept. So, I have to depent on my cellphone to get to know them and find out how they are and how they are doing with their homework. Therefore, cellphone is so essential for me and I couldn't live without it in my entire life.

My PSP

The thing that i always have with me no matter where i go is my PSP. i have had this little machine for almost a year now and since then it's always with me. when this devise came out i really was not in to it but after some research i found that it is very user friendly and lets you run your own programs. so i bought one. This is a very useful device even if you don't use it for games like me (well not really i only have one or two games) you can use radio programs, spreadsheets, you can use the internet and even use DOS( this is a old operating system used for programing and came before windows) and run old versions of windows. this thing is an MP3 player too so if your in the go you can even listen to your own tunes, which is pretty cool. it is also a movie player so you can watch movies too

My Eyeglass

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I will keep my eyeglasses until death. This eyeglass was a gift from my youngest maternal uncle since I went back to China last year. I might change my eyeglasses by time goes on. However, I will not throw this pair of eyeglasses away. Last year, I went back to China with my old and had little defective eyeglasses. The following week, my youngest uncle took me to an eyeglasses store for chosen another pair of eyeglasses. I hadn’t nearsightedness before I came to the United States. My first pair eyeglasses were free eyeglasses because school had a medical care for eyeglasses. Nevertheless, none of my relatives or my friends would give me a present of eyeglasses. Maybe you will ask why does this eyeglasses are so important for me. This pair of eyeglasses is so important for me because this was my first gift in my twenty year’s life. I haven’t received any presents in my past twenty years. That’s why I will keep my eyeglasses until death.

Juan Carlo's Stamp

This stamp is really important and meaningful to me. I always have it in my wallet, and I have brought it with me for a long time, wherever I go. The stamp has some letter in spanish that mean: " Stop! The heart of Jesus is with you". It means a lot to me, because it is like a protection for the person that hold it.

Martha's Image

This one of the most important things for me, because this remember my childhood. When I was a little child my mom gave this necklet to me as a present. In that moment she said me "This is especially for you, and it's your responsibility to keep it." This necklet before belong to my grandmother , and my grandmother gave to my mom, and now is mine.
This necklet is made of a material that's is not exactly gold, it never changes its texture and it's bright full.
This necklet contains an star with five dimensions and a mini portrait in a spheral shape, inside of that you can be placed any picture but the only thing, it must be very small in size to fit right into the oval.

My favorite coin bag

What in this picture is a coin bag, which is a gift form one of my best friends. Though the bag does not cost a lot, it is one of my favorite gifts I received. My friend gave it to me after she came back from Disney Land. Minnie is my favorite character. I believe my passion of Disney is not less than Firoozeh’s dad although I have never been there. The Disney Land has been my dream since I was a little girl.
The coin bag is important also because it could let me remember my friend. Once I see the bag I would think about my friend. She is a lovely girl who always has a curious face like the Minnie on this coin bag, even though she doesn’t have any question in fact. She just has such a face! I never feel boring when I stay with her. We have endless topics to talk whenever I met her.
Today, I cannot see her frequently since she is working in New York. Every time when I miss her, I will take this coin bag out. I value this friendship and I will keep the coin bag with me forever.

the Rings

The rings above were given to me late by someone as my birthday present. They are made of platinum, and there's a small diamond on it. I just received them a couple monthes age. That night, when I opened it, I couldn't say a word. I got a big shock just like I was hit by a lightning. My mind was empty. As I closed my eyes, I felt nothing. It was the heaviest gift I have ever had. They are a pair of rings, and she said she gave them both to me because she was not sure if the smaller one belonged to her. I felt so guilty at that time. I have done something wrong, at least the rings remind me. From now on, they will be very imprtant to me. They are priceless and precious to me. I will hold them in my hands tight forever because they were given by someone, who really care about me no matter if I love her or no.

As you can see, i am holding a little plastic doll that i have with me since i was 3 or 4 years old. I dont quite remember where did i got this from.
This was one of my favorite toys, i have been keeping it for so long that i almost forgot that i have it.
she used to have shoes but my oldest sister broke it but she still has one hand left, and i dont really remember how she lose the other one.
I never did care if i lose it or break it, but i have been keeping this for so long that it became one of my biggest precious objects from my childhood.
I always though she looks like Penny from "Inspector Gadget" i used to watch that show all the time and it was one of my favorites cartoons.

Maffoo

He is my friend that always be with me. His name is Maffoo Cha. Maffoo means fluffy, and Cha means brown color. My best Japanese friend who has same rag doll but different color gave him to me. He has been with me for almost ten years. He is only three and half inches and very light weight. He has brown and white fur and this feels something like real far. His black eyes is made with plastic and twinkle a lot. As you can see he is violently cute!! I will give this to my future kids. I am sure s/he will like him! When I was a junior high school student, I used to play catch ball using him like a ball... Anyway, I love him very much, and whenever I sleep,I take him to bed and sleep with him.

Computer + computer games

In my life, computer games and computer happened to be one of the important things to me. Why am I putting two objects together while the assignment only required to talk about only one object? Because computer games and computer are strongly related. It is really obvious that computer games can only play in computers. I started to play computer game when I was 7 years old. A lot of parents might have an opinion that computer games were only something that will affect students' grades in school and waste of time. However, to me, it was a good way to learn things. Since I was little, I learned a lot of histories, fairy tales, and vocabularies from playing games like Age of Empire, Lineage, and Maple Story. (Both Chinese and English vocabularies) Some of these knowledges you will never learn in school. That's why I considered that computer games are important to me, they gave me chances to learn something extra. Computer, not only a machine for playing computer games, but also a machine that helped me a lot on education, such as online researches, typing essays, and a lots more. There were also things like Ipod, camera, and cellphone that were importan, but not as importan as computer and computer games. :)
Well, this funny stuff in the picture is my one of the most important things in my life. What is
it? It is a Korean spicy sauce for every single Korean foods. Korean called that "Go Choo
Jang". I didn't know it would be the most important thing in my life. Probably, since I have
been here, I felt that I was already addicted to Go Choo Jang, I merely didn't realize that. I
should say like this. If something is really close to you, we never know that's importance, aren't
we? ^^ With that a spicy sauce, I can cook spicy rice cake, Bibimbab which is rice with a
spicy that sauce and several vegetables, stir fried rice, and so on. I might need to have that
sauce the rest of my life, too. That's, Go Choo Jang, the most important thing in my life.
P.S. I should say thank to my roommate that lent me her laptop to take this picture. She also
love Korean foods with spicy sauce.

ALARM CLOCK

Alarm clock

So everyone knows what is alarm clock and how important is it. I know it sounds like funny topic. Even tough alarm clock is almost my half of life. If I do not have alarm clock I will exactly miss my class (I swear a god), and I cannot do anything because I sleeping too much. Therefore I can call my alarm like my saver.

---An alarm clock is designed to make an alert sound at a specific time.

The primary use of these clocks is to awaken people from their sleep in the mornings. Some people hate alarm clock’s sound. To stop the sound, a button or handle on the clock needs to be pressed. And some alarm clocks spot automatically after a few minutes if nobody attended. A classical analog alarm clock has an extra thing that is used to specify the time at which to activate the alarm.

Most alarm clocks have a bell on top that rings, but digital alarm clocks can make other sounds. Some alarm clock can sing laugh and speak. Also some alarm clocks have radios that start playing at specified times.

Rosary

This rosary is very important to me. this is because I got it when I was ten years old. My grandmother gave it to me as a gift on my communion day. I always care it with me in my bog and I also pray with it every night be for I go to bed. In addtion it remmends me of my grandmother and how a wunderful and kind person she was. She passed away two years ago I missed her but she died in good age. I love to go to church and I go every Sunday. In a Catholic Church rosary is a very important symbol of our love for Holy Mary.

Cellphone!!

Cellphone is one of the important things for me. If I go out I must bring my three important things: cellphone, key and purse but cellpone is the most important for me. If I forget to bring my key, I can use my cellpone to call my family help me. If I forget to bring my purse I can use my cellphone to call somebody help.
Cellphnoe is very useful. If you have some urgency, you can use cellphnoe to call someone help. Sometime you go out to have lunch or dinner, you cann't find you purse when you want to check the bill, you can call your friends.
Cellphnoe is convenience. It has small size that is easy to bring out. I use cellphnoe everyday and it is the most important things for me!

*** Hand band ***

The item that is one of the most important things that I have and I can hold it in my hand is hand band which I had when I was born. This is just a little plastic but shows so much. My hand was like my one finger now. There is my number- 29 and that I’m daughter of Wanda Walat, my birth date and time when I was born. It was 11:45 a.m. Since that shinny, worm, day on the middle of the May, my Mom was holding this for me knowing that one day I will be grateful her for this. In our life, there are many small important things, like credit cards, keys, i-pods, phones, but this is just an item that it can be changed like a lock in the door. My hand band will never change; always will be the same with same feelings and emotions.

Credit Card!!

Credit card is important for me. Credit card follows me every day because it sleeps in my wallet. When I buy some foods or commodities for home, I often pay by credit card so that I don't carry more cash to shopping. It is very convenient to me. Every month, I use my credit card to pay some bills on line. I don't go to bank or mail all bills.
Most of people have one or more credit cards. When you open a credit card and use it. It can raise your credit so that bank will provide credit for your car or house in future. Credit card is same your money and it is necessary in our life.

keys!

Keys are the most important object for me, I bring keys everyday, and I can't forget it one day. So I think that I hold keys is the most in my life.
No one doesn't have a key, everyone brings keys everyday. Keys can safe your important things: money, house, cars, your life...whatever you want. If you lost your keys, it means your important things are not safety. So you must need to take care your keys and make sure you can't lost it anytime and carefully to keep it in your life forever.
